Tom Welling as Superman Imagery

Welcome, Smallville fans, to the Red Cape Gallery!

This online gallery is my way of saying, "Brandon Routh, Schmandon Schmouth!" For millions of people, Tom Welling IS Superman, by character if not yet by wardrobe. Yet I'm sure a sizeable proportion of Smallville fans often catch themselves trying to envision how Tom would really look if he donned the classic costume that has become almost as much of an icon as the man who wears it!

My goal in creating this site is to offer such fans a comprehensive selection of high-resolution images that help to quench their desire to see Tom Welling bring his most well-known role to full maturity. Using the awesome power of Adobe PhotoShop CS2, I have created an entire series of versatile and/or dramatic images of the Man of Steel as he might look if Tom officially accepted the torch that has been passed to him.

Although this site will hopefully grow as I include contributions from other artists, all the images you see here are currently my own work. Wallpaper

The third wallpaper is unique because it features a prophecy I composed in Latin describing the arrival of Superman. A translation would read like this:

In an age when buildings will reach the skies, there will come the last son of a dying race. From the sky shall fall a child who shall become a man greater in power than any human of Earth. He will have the strength of a hundred men. Neither blade nor flame shall pierce his skin. Gravity will not keep him on the ground. He will move faster than an arrow from an archer's bow. From his eyes he shall be able to emit fire. He will see what others do not see and hear what others do not hear. He shall be a friend of justice and a great force for good. Earth's greatest champion will come.
