Florida Fitness and Rehab is a private practice physical therapy company that specializes in the overall rehabilitation needs and fitness of the community by providing programs such as vestibular rehab, lymphedema management, manual spine techniques, and rehabilitation for orthopedic injuries. The company was founded in 2003, and has grown from one to two locations and currently staffing eight employees. Over the course of 5 years, the company has increased its annual gross revenue from 300,000 to over one million dollars.

Healthsouth is currently one of the leading multi-specialty healthcare organizations with locations all throughout the United States. In the southwest Florida region however, Healthsouth focused its patient care through the use of outpatient rehabilitation facilities. Within our region Healthsouth staffed approximately 12 employees and generated over 1.5 million dollars in revenue.
Data Processor
- Inputting daily patient information and medical charges into HPASS system.
- Assisted in patient care coordination by scheduling procedures and addressing insurance concerns.
- Responsible for training all pertinent personnel in utilizing HPASS system.
- Maintained and handled computer management issues.
- Gathered statistical data for upper management to aide in creating budgets and implementing new projects.
Accomplishments include:
- Headed the initiation of brining data entry in house, thus saving the company 20k annually in employment costs.
- Volunteered in training southwest Florida region personnel to avoid bring on out of state trainers at a higher employment cost.
House of Wu.
February 2001– December 2001
The house of Wu, formally known as Jacqueline Bridals is a wholesale distribution company specializing in bridal couture, prom, and special occasion formal wear. The company is owned under a sole proprietor and employs approximately 20 employees in Ft. Myers and 75 in their manufacturing plant in China.
Account Representative
- Handled customer orders for Dere Kiang line, a line that was only distributed to South America.
- Responsible for accurately performing monthly inventory of hundreds of gowns and accessories.
- Worked closely with the accounting department to generate customer incentives for large orders.
- Kept a close relation with shipping to ensure orders were being processed accurately and delivered by the promised arrival date.
- Met with owner and sales representatives quarterly to discuss new lines and ways to promote higher sales.
Accomplishments include:
- Obtained employee of the month after two months of employment for highest increase in sales among all the clothing lines, and exceptional customer service measure by customer surveys.
- Was made lead coordinator of Dere Kiang line due to strong ability to effectively sell the product.
